Laryngitis
(or laryngotracheobronchitis) is a type of respiratory infection caused by viral infection
of the upper airways (of the respiratory system). Infection causes swelling
within the throat. Normal respiratory obstruction occurs due to inflammation; The
"barking" cough, stridor (loud wheezing), and hoarseness /
strangulation are the main symptoms of throat disease. Symptoms of throat
disease can be mild, moderate or severe and become worse at night. A single
dose of oral steroid can treat the condition. Occasionally, epinephrine is used
for more severe cases. The need for hospitalization is extremely rare.
Signs and symptoms
Symptoms in
throat disease include a "barking" cough, stridor (a loud wheezing
sound when breathing in), hoarseness / strangulation, and hard breathing that
usually worsen at night. A cough like "barking" is often quite
similar to a single or sea lioness. Screaming can worsen wheezing; wheezing
means that the respiratory passages are narrower. As the disease becomes worse,
wheezing may also decrease.
Other
symptoms include fever, najala (typical symptoms of common cold and cold) and
intercostal skin subsidence. Other medical conditions include resin dripping or
sickness.
Reason
Laryngitis is generally reported to be caused
by a virus infection. Some people refer to the term as severe laryngotrachitis
(inflammation of the throat and respiratory tract), tightened laryngitis
(spasmodic group), laryngeal diphtheria (laryngeal diphtheria), bacterial
tranchitis (bacterial-tracheal inflammation), laryngotraciobronchitis and
laryngoticonitis. Let's experiment. The first two conditions are virus-related
(virus-borne) and have minor symptoms; the last four are bacterial-related
(bacterial-borne) and are generally more severe.
